The first thing I love about this picture is its abstract feel. When you only see the thumbnail, it could be anything: a spaceship, tiny glass pieces, a graphic piece with blue gradients. This is very intriguing and at that point the strict presence of only two colors, white and blue, with tiny parts of black works extremely well.
You are so fascinated that you full view the picture. Then you realize it is a building shot from outside, and you first think how amazingly symmetric it is. It is only after that that you understand a mirror cuts the picture in two and the symmetry is created by the reflection.

The first amazing thing is how perfectly good is the symmetry. Having tilted it to make it diagonal is genius: it adds to the surreal feel of the photo, but it also helps to guide the eye along the most important axis. Vertically the photo would have been less impressive.
The other thing which is absolutely awesome is how the reflections are sharply pictured, which means that while the picture is very interesting through the vertical symmetry, it also acquires a real depth by following the reflections in the central building. To that, you can also add the great way in which the height of the building is conveyed, making it really impressive. You feel sucked into the picture and you really feel like you're standing in the place of the photographer.

This feeling is increased by the precision of the textures. The pavement, although dark, is incredibly sharp and the glass although transparent is given real texture by its blue coloration.

At the same time mysterious and very sharp, this picture is very good technically. One closes the page with the impression of having made a lilliputian journey in a very impressive, strange and beautiful world.
